Committee Bond

A Committee Surety Bond is a type of court surety bond or fiduciary surety bond that is required by courts of persons with fiduciary duties related to the estate of a deceased or the guardianship of minors or incapacitated individuals. The Committee surety bond is specifically required for a person who is appointed by a court to manage the estate of a person who has been declared incompetent. These are also known as Conservator surety bonds or Curator surety bonds.
