How much is a Georgia title bond?

Georgia sets the bond amount at two times the vehicle’s average retail value, with a $5,000 minimum. The state uses vehicle values established by the Georgia Department of Revenue — not consumer pricing guides — and the bond stays in force for four years. Vehicles from model year 1985 or older are generally not eligible for the bonded-title process.
